Best Western Gardendale

The breakfast and service was good. The staff was good the rooms were comfortable and clean.

The room was a very nice size and appeared to be clean. The min refrigerator was broken and leaked water all over the floor. I called the attendant and she rushed upstairs with extra towels for leak. The refrigerator could not be repaired then, and I bought several things that I wanted refrigerated. I was given the option to change rooms, but there was one room left and it was downstairs, and I preferred to stay on the 3rd floor. I also could not get refund from hotel, because I had not booked with them, I booked with booking.com. This was the only issue I had with my stay. The breakfast was great! I also appreciated the fact how nice and prompt, the receptionist was about the situation! The hotel was also very quiet and peaceful.

The location... It's not on "hotel row.". Relatively quiet (there is this freeway nearby), and pleasant place. No commercial vehicles or trucks because of it's location.

Breakfast was awesome (though the waffle maker was a bit tricky). It was a pretty busy morning, and we still had a place to seat our little family of 4. Slightly cramped breakfast area, but definitely reasonable (I would rather have too much in a small space, vs not enough in a large space).

Breakfast was good. Waffle maker didn’t seem to cook the waffles all the way thru tho. Staff was very friendly and courteous
